Durable, comfortable and technologically advanced: the Pitchfork Systems Under Armor Combat Shirt.
Made from a high-quality 50/50 polyester-cotton blended fabric specially developed for the Pitchfork product line, the modern-cut Combat Shirt withstands even the most adverse conditions. The fabric has a technologically advanced "near infrared" (nIR) treatment to reduce the visual signature when viewed through a modern military night vision device. The properties of the camouflage pattern therefore remain intact in the dark, the material generally reflects light only very slightly. The torso material uses a 50/50 Merino-Viscose FlameStop blended fabric of particularly high-quality, which feels very comfortable on the skin. High quality YKK zippers are used.
A medium-high collar protects against fragments and empty shells, but does not interfere while wearing a vest because of the tight fitting design. The same applies to the zipper used, which is very flat in the chest area and has two protective caps in the chin area, which avoids injuring the wearer when closing. The seams in the shoulder area are kept very flat to avoid unnecessary pressure points.
The upper arm pockets are arranged so that they remain accessible when wearing a vest, the design permits bulky objects to be accommodated. The hook & loop closures keep the pockets quickly accessible at all times. The use of zippers and buttons was deliberately avoided during the development. Generous hook & loop surfaces allow you to attach patches on both sides. In the elbow area there are pockets for the insertion of elbow pads. An extra-long design ensures that the shirt does not slip out of the pants when bending over and kneeling.
The Pitchfork under Armor Combat Shirt is available in Regular and Long and are compatible with the Crye AirFlex elbow ads (sold separately, see category "Matching Accessories"). Contact us for different requirements.
