Edge-To-Edge Monolithic Ceramic Tile

This plate is built to meet customers' edge to edge requirements with a monolithic SIC ceramic tile. So-called edge-to-edge plates have a larger protective surface, since the monolithic ceramic (i.e. consisting of one piece) runs to the outer edges.

The manufacturing process for monolithic core plates utilises a pressing-machine in a heated environment to ensure the adhesive interface between the front and the back plate has the best possible temperature and an evenly distributed energy applied over the tile resulting in a much stronger binding, which then provides better backface deformation results and less cracking in the event of an impacting projectile.

The price of such monolithic SIC plates is therefore located in the higher-end in comparison to standard multi-tiled plates.

Shooter Cut, Multi Curved

The special cut allows more flexibility for shooters. In addition, the plate is curved several times, so it can adapt better to the human anatomy. The panel has a foam padding around the edges which prevents damage. Multi curved plates can be used front and back. However, many users choose a multi curved front plate while the back plate remains a single curved version.
